“Soft tailoring - Redefined.”

10 YEARS OF SOFT TAILORING

once a day - CUSTOM MADE
At once a day, made to measure is a quiet celebration of craft and simplicity. Each custom-made suit or shirt begins with a meeting in our Soho store on 6 Elgin Street, Hong Kong - a calm space where Swedish minimalism meets Italian tailoring.

Over coffee, you’ll meet with our co-founder and creative lead Karin, to explore fabrics, details, and shapes that reflect who you are and how you move.
Our approach for suits is rooted in soft tailoring - light canvases, natural shoulders, and unlined construction. The result is effortless structure, comfort in motion, and timeless elegance. Behind it sits high-tech precision: every suit is laser-cut from a digital pattern created uniquely for you. It’s the meeting point between craftsmanship and technology - Scandinavian restraint, Italian soul.
SOFT TAILORING - REDEFINED

We believe structure should never weigh you down. Our unlined jackets, natural shoulders, and light canvases create a silhouette that feels relaxed yet refined. The movement is free, the look timeless.
Once you’ve worn soft tailoring, it’s hard to go back. It has been - since day one - the heart of once a day. This is tailoring made to be lived in: quietly confident, beautifully balanced.

1. THE APPOINTMENT
Your journey begins with an appointment with Karin in our Soho studio - Swedish batch coffee on us.

Explore: It’s an unhurried moment to talk about your wardrobe, lifestyle, and how you want your garments to feel. Together, you’ll explore shapes and silhouettes that reflect your personal rhythm.
Posture: We study your natural posture and movement using shell jackets and trousers developed in-house over a decade of soft tailoring. We then take over 30 precise measurements and conduct a 360° posture review, capturing how fabric falls and where balance, comfort, and drape come into play.
Design: Together, we’ll refine the details — from lapels and pockets to collar shapes and buttons — ensuring each piece feels unmistakably yours.

THE MILLS

For suits and jackets, we source from renowned Italian mills such as REDA, Drago, Vitale Barberis Canonico, and Zegna, as well as our own once a day collection. Each fabric is chosen for its balance of texture, breathability, and timeless appeal.
For custom-made shirts, we work with Albini, Thomas Mason, and the OAD Shirt Collection - bringing lightness, comfort, and refinement to your everyday wear.

Our standard-sized garments from the Casual Collection can also be custom-sized - either online or by booking a appointment in our store.

2. CRAFTING
From these details, we create your digital pattern - the foundation for your wardrobe.

Each garment is laser-cut for precision and crafted in advanced workshops using German interlinings, soft canvases, and refined hand finishing.
Our soft tailoring philosophy means no shoulder padding, no heavy lining - just natural movement, light canvases, and unlined construction.

3. THE FITTING
Your garment will be ready in about 4–5 weeks.

At this stage, your suit or shirt is nearly complete - this is where we fine-tune the final details. Some clients walk out with their piece after the first fitting, but with our passion for perfection, even a 5 mm adjustment is worth waiting for.
Every refinement is recorded in your digital pattern, ensuring that future orders fit flawlessly.

4. THE DELIVERY
Your second fitting usually takes place 1–2 weeks later, once all adjustments are complete.

Making a garment with once a day is never a rushed process - it’s made with care. Getting the pattern and fit right is part of our DNA, but we always aim to have it ready as soon as possible.
