More about the wine

Winemaking & Terroir
This vintage once again brings together grapes from the cool coastal slopes near Darling - the kind of place where ocean breezes keep things crisp and bright. The blend is the familiar 78% Sauvignon Blanc and 22% Sémillon, but this year's Sémillon came off the vines blushing candyfloss pink, full of ripe, generous flavour. Both components were fermented cool in stainless steel to keep those fresh, vibrant aromatics alive. After fermentation, the wine spent seven months on its gross lees, adding a soft, creamy texture beneath all that zippy energy.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale straw hue that hints at its coastal roots. The nose bursts with citrus - think grapefruit, lemon zest, and a touch of white blossom. On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc brings lively acidity and drive, while the ripe Sémillon smooths the edges with a waxy, almost silky feel. It's a beautifully balanced dance of freshness and texture, finishing clean and bright — a little salty, a little sunny, and absolutely moreish. Whether you're sharing it over a long lunch or sipping it seaside, the 2025 Pas de Nom White is all about effortless enjoyment with a touch of coastal charm.

About Beau & OAD
In 2019, the Scotts and us founders of OAD went on a trip to South Africa and was absolutely blown away by the experience we had at Beau Constantia. A borderline 10 out of 10 dining experience at the vineyard just outside Cape Town. More importantly, they also had a retail outlet of their pretty sublime wine. Not only great tasting notes, but also unreal value, which has since been an undefeated champ in our wine fridge over the past years. As we needed to restock our supplies, we learned that the great people over at Beau had yet to have a distributor in Hong Kong, so we entered a partnership based on our shared affinity of great wines and good times.
